  • Activities: Write a presentation purpose and measurable goals.

Section 3:  Emphasize the WIFM

  • Power Tool: Understand your audience, and know their motivations.
  • Activities: Analyze your audience.

Section 4:  Prepare to Succeed

  • Power Tool: Master your topic, and prepare carefully.
  • Activities: Prepare your speaking notes.

Section 5:  Enhance Messages with Media

  • Power Tool: Use media to strengthen your message.
  • Activities: Use your speaking notes to create presentation media.

Section 6:  Stand and Deliver

  • Power Tool: Manage anxiety by practicing.
  • Activities: Learn to manage anxiety, build credibility, and develop a personal speaking style.

Section 7:  Plan to Improve

  • Power Tool: Seek speaking opportunities, and set an improvement goal for every presentation.
  • Activities: Write a short plan for future improvement.
